I support the university’s plan to hike the price of junk food and offer a variety of fruit and vegetables in order to promote a healthy diet in school.

The first reason is, it’s effective. The average University student is always on a budgetand can‘t afford to splurge on a lot of things. If junk food on campus becomes more expensive, they’ll just have to eat healthy.

The second reason is I think it might end up being more lucrative. If fruit and vegetables are much cheaper, then students will buy more of them coz they’re easy to prepare, and need to be purchased as often as possible and this will in turn make more money for the produce sector.

So by doing this, I think it’s a win-win, it’ll increase health and finances at the university.
