How would you like to learn about cultures if you cannot travel there?

I would like to learn about other cultures by forming a chat group with the local people since I believe with the advancement of technology today and the availability of several social mediaplatforms, such as Facebook and Instagram, it’s a cheaper way to go about the situation. 

Secondly, I feel that it’s the most  （猜词互动）way to educate oneself about a culture. What we read in published books and watch in movies at times, could be skewed and may not be as accurate as we think and by talking to the locals we can get first hand information about the culture without it being diluted by the main stream media. 

So, if you had the chance to chat with the locals, that would be the best way to learn about other cultures.
